Behind The Design is a series on the SNKRS app showcasing the origin stories of various Nike signature sneakers and collaborations, from the past to present. The designers of featured shoes/apparel are interviewed about the thought process and inspiration behind their design choices, and discuss their favorite details as well.

Nike’s yearly Yardrunner campaign highlights and celebrates HBCU’s and their students by providing scholarships and releasing apparel collections tailored to different HBCU’s. In 2022, Nike chose four alumni from different HBCU’s to design a school-themed Dunk Low.

I was hired to be the editor on all four of these Behind The Design episodes, produced by Recess Studios in Portland.
